INTRODUCTION

One night during the hot summer of 2003 four baby hedgehogs are found crawling around in the garden: a few days old, still blind and orphaned. We have tried to rescue them. How? Read this diary and look at the photo's.
This site has been made because at that time, it wasn’t easy to find help and information via the internet. Since 2008 we have a national telephonenumber: 0031-(0)356468669.
It has been a very special experience for us, because in fact it is forbidden in Holland and France to keep these protected animals at home. We are gratefull for the help of the hedgehog-center near Amsterdam and the veterinair in Luzy, Nièvre, France.  ->
